This module registers the patient and captures the demographic details
OUTPATIENT ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD (EMR) SYSTEM
The EMR captures the patient’s vitals such as height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, blood sugar, X-rays, MRI or CT Scan files and allows the doctor to track these over time
In addition to the above mentioned features, the inpatient EMR can capture and store ECG, ambulatory blood pressure readings
ROOM AND BED MANAGEMENT
This module allows the administrator to manage all the rooms and rooms with multiple beds from a central location. The graphical view shows the occupied rooms and beds, unoccupied rooms and rooms being prepared for occupation. The details of the patient in an occupied room or bed are also shown.
Several insurance schemes are supported by the system including the Government sponsored insurance schemes, private insurance schemes and corporate insurance
OUT PATIENT AND IN PATIENT BILLING
The integrated OP and IP billing allows the hospital to prepare a comprehensive bill for the tests done to the patient, consultation fees, scan reports etc.
FLOOR WISE INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
This module allows the hospital to avoid leakages due to consumption of drugs and lab items that go unreported on each floor, due to lack of a structured reporting process
LAB REPORTS AND INTEGRATION
The lab reports can be uploaded into the patient's EMR, to enable the doctor to get a holistic of the patient
The doctor can check the availability of a drug in the pharmacy and prescribe accordingly. Once the patient reaches the pharmacy and drugs are dispensed, the prescription automatically reduces the inventory
Several reports can be generated that are useful to the hospital management:
The avanaMD Radiology Information System (RIS) integrates the following features seamlessly:
MediCorder Suite integrates the following into the HIS. This is provided at an additional cost that depends on the device:
The weight measured gets electronically recorded to the patient's EMR, without the staff nurse having to type in. This avoids typographical errors
HEART RATE MONITOR
The heart rate monitor is embedded in a belt that is worn across the chest and continuously reports the heart rate of the patient to the patient’s EMR through a mobile phone that is connected to the internet.
MediCorder Suite integrates the following into the HIS. This is
provided at an additional cost that depends on the device:
BLOOD GLUCOSE MONITORING
The blood glucose measured is electronically recorded to the patient’s EMR. This can be tracked over time. Any abnormal readings can be notified to a doctor of the patient’s choice, on a mobile application
AMBULATORY BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING
The ambulatory blood pressure monitor can be worn by a patient for 24 hours continuously to monitor the blood pressure while the patient lies down or while the patient goes about his or her daily activities. After the monitoring period, the device is connected to a computer on the hospital’s network and the measurements are uploaded to the patient’s EMR.
ELECTRONIC BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING
The blood pressure measured is electronically recorded to the patient’s EMR. This can be tracked over time. Any abnormal readings can be notified to a doctor of the patient’s choice, on a mobile application
